Hello, my name is Ondřej Potůček, I am an opera and concert singer (baritone).

Graduate of the Gymnasium and Music School of the City of Prague, student of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, student of Mgr. Jaroslav Mrázek and KS Roland Schubert, performer of Brundibár in the opera of the same name (2011 Tel Aviv, 2012 St. Petersburg), among others winner of the Bohuslav Martinů International Song Competition (2010, 2015), International Opera Singing Competition of Giulio Perotti in Ueckermünde (2014), the International Singing Competition of Rudolf Petrák in Žilina (2014), the International Singing Competition Pro Bohemia in Ostrava (2015) and the International Competition Triomphe de l'Art in Brussels (2016), where he also won the Audience Award.

In 2021 he performed the lead role of Cupid in a stage interpretation of Christian Jost's "Dichterliebe" at HMT Leipzig, directed by Karolina Gruber. In 2O21 he sang the roles of the Second Armed Man and the Speaker in the opera "The Magic Flute" by W.A. Mozart, directed by Naïmi Märker, at the Theater Rudolstadt. In the 2021/2022 season, Ondřej sang the role of "Ein Wachtmeister" in Carl Nielsen's Masquerade at the Leipzig Opera.

In the 2022/23 season, Ondřej made his debut as Figaro in W.A. Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro at the Teatro Niccolini in Florence, Italy.

This season, Ondřej will also perform the role of "Il commissario imperiale" in Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly at the Leipzig Opera.
